Webinar “Portugal-Berkeley Program: Opportunities”

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), the Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD), and the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) will hold a webinar on November 5 at 5:00 p.m. (Lisbon time) to present the Portugal-Berkeley Program.

This program is the result of a partnership between FCT, FLAD, and UC Berkeley, which aims to promote academic exchange, scientific collaboration, and strengthen ties between Portugal and the Portuguese community at one of the best universities in the world.

Under the theme "Portugal-Berkeley: Opportunities, "the webinar will highlight the various financial support opportunities available, such as Studentships for doctoral candidates; support for faculty mobility between Portugal and UC Berkeley; Ana Hatherley artist residency; support for UC Berkeley faculty to participate in conferences or research activities in Portugal; support for the acquisition of Portuguese books for the Doe Library at UC Berkeley; support for Portuguese doctoral students; organization of academic and cultural events. To participate in the webinar, you must register in advance (mandatory).

The Portugal-Berkeley Program is managed by the Center for Portuguese Studies (CPS) at UC Berkeley, part of the University's Institute of European Studies, and is funded by FCT, following the signing of aprotocol between FCT and CPS.
