Fathers can choose to share initial parental leave, in which each takes exclusively, but not simultaneously, one period of 30 consecutive days or two periods of 15 consecutive days, after the mother's compulsory six weeks. In this case, the leave period of 120 or 150 days, depending on the option, and the respective support are increased by 30 days.
