STIP Survey – Science and Technology Policy Survey
The FCT coordinates the national response to the OECD/EC STIP Survey, an international survey on science and technology policies, which is the responsibility of the OECD's Committee for Scientific and Technological Policy (CSTP) and the European Union's European Research and Innovation Area Committee (ERAC).
The survey is aimed at national public bodies (ministries and agencies) working on science, technology, and innovation policies and feeds into STIP COMPASS, which contains a database that is unique in its scope, nature, and scale and has become an important international tool for monitoring and analyzing countries' science and innovation policies.
