Digital employability

FCT is part of the Portuguese Coalition for Digital Employability (CPED), as an entity linked to Advanced Training and Research. CPED is Portugal's response to the challenge launched by the European Commission. Coordinated by .PT, it brings together stakeholders from all sectors of society and currently has around 80 members from a diverse network of public and private entities.

Ponto Digital – Digital Skills and Jobs, launched in October 2022, is a platform that brings together initiatives in the digital field. It centralizes information on best practices, studies, resources, events, news, training activities, job offers, Calls much more, facilitating citizens' access to digital training opportunities.

With the aim of digitally empowering all Portuguese citizens, Ponto Digital offers tools for self-assessment of digital skills, allowing users to identify their level of competence and, based on this, find suitable training courses. It also supports companies in assessing their digital maturity, offering tools to increase their competitiveness.
