Yes, for the registration of a member of the research team it is necessary that he has CIÊNCIA ID associated with the FCT SIG user registration in MyFCT. To obtain the identifier and association to the FCT system access the link: https://myfct.fct.pt/GMSAML/MyFCTRegister.aspx.

The addition of an element to the team can be initiated by entering on the home page the e-mail that is in the individual FCT record. The platform automatically confirms if the element has the identifier SCIENCE ID associated with the FCT SIG user registration. Then it is necessary to fill in the required fields of the platform regarding the level of training, participation in the team and professional status. While filling the data can be saved and the element will remain in the team list in the status To be submitted. The registration of the element ends with the submission.

• For submitting: initial state of the element record after it was added and saved / state where the required element data was not entered or not all data was entered, but the record was saved / state where the element data was entered and saved, in either case the element record was not submitted;
• Pending: the PhD element data record has been submitted and is awaiting confirmation from the PhD element;
• Confirmed: status of a doctoral candidate after confirming his/her participation in the team. For non-PhD members this status will be assigned immediately after submitting the data record because these members do not need to confirm their participation in a team. The team of an R&D unit is composed of the members in the Confirmed status;
• Refused: after submitting the registration of a PhD element, the PhD element refused to participate in the team.

Active is a team member with an join date earlier than or the same as the current day and an exit date that is empty or later than the current date. Inactive is a team member with an exit date from the team earlier than or the same as the current date, or with an entry date later than the current date, or with no entry date filled in yet.
