  • Submission of the Call recruitment notice and the employment contract or Studentship is mandatory. When there are changes to the contract with implications for funding, an addendum to the contract must be submitted. Documents are uploaded in PDF format. If the employment contract does not require the execution of Call and therefore there is no public notice, a document with a simple justification mentioning this aspect must be uploaded instead of the public notice.

  • The documents submitted are verified by FCT and the result of their validation is considered for the purpose of verifying human resources expenses submitted in payment requests through the Science and Technology Portal. The results of the validation of the documents submitted on the platform are communicated by e-mail to the R&D unit and can be consulted on the platform from the list of team members. The documents can be validated or not validated. If the documents are not valid, they can be replaced or others can be added for a new validation.

  • No, the supply to FCT of the employment contract documents imputed to the funding of the R&D unit or Associate Laboratory will now be through their upload on the platform.

  • They may be eligible or not, since the eligibility of expenses is not assessed only based on the conformity of the documents related to procurement. The expenses are presented in payment requests submitted in the PCT, in its analysis are also considered the framing of the tasks in the funding objectives and in the execution period, the legality of the expense documents, the realization of the mandatory discounts from the employer and also other factors that are part of the analysis as the budget availability.
