Submitting documents for a financed contract

It is compulsory to submit the recruitment Call notice and the employment or Studentship contract. When there are changes to the contract with implications for funding, an addendum to the contract must be submitted. Documents must be uploaded in PDF format. If the employment contract does not require a recruitment Call and there is therefore no notice, a document with a simple justification mentioning this should be uploaded instead of the notice.

The documents submitted are verified by the FCT and the result of their validation is taken into account for the purposes of verifying human resources expenses submitted in payment requests through the Science and Technology Portal. The results of the validation of documents submitted on the platform are communicated by e-mail to the R&D unit and can be consulted on the platform from the list of team members. Documents can be validated or not validated. If the documents are not valid, they can be replaced or others added for a new validation.

No, the documents of the employment contracts attributed to the funding of the R&D unit or Associate Laboratory will now be provided to the FCT by uploading them onto the platform.

They may or may not be eligible, since the eligibility of expenditure is not assessed solely on the basis of the conformity of the documents relating to the contract. Expenditure is presented in payment requests submitted to the PCT, and its analysis also takes into account how the tasks fit in with the objectives of the funding and the period of implementation, the legality of the expenditure documents, whether the mandatory employer deductions have been made and other factors that are part of the analysis, such as budget availability.
