It is a journal in which all articles published in it are only accessible upon payment of a fee.

It is a period imposed by the journal (or publisher) between the publication of the article and its availability in open access.

The RCAAP (Open Access Scientific Repositories of Portugal) network is a network composed of a set of repositories from institutions that are part of the project. The list of these repositories can be found here: RCAAP – Open Access Scientific Repositories of Portugal
RCAAP is an initiative managed and operated by FCT. RCAAP aims to increase the visibility, accessibility, and dissemination of the results of national academic and scientific research activities and to facilitate access to information on national scientific output on an open access basis.

Depositing the article in an RCAAP network repository is a condition for it to remain open access if it is published in a closed-access journal, i.e., accessible only by subscription. This deposit complies with the FCT Open Access Policy. For the deposit of articles originally published in open access, see 3.5.

The deposit must be made at the time of acceptance of the article for publication or, at the latest, at the time of publication.

Yes. The article may be deposited cumulatively in other repositories, such as PubMed Central, ArXiv, or others, or published in other media, such as the author's personal web pages.
