The RCAAP network (Repositórios Científicos de Acesso Aberto de Portugal) is made up of a set of repositories from institutions that are part of the project. The list of these repositories can be found here: RCAAP - Open Access Scientific Repositories of Portugal
RCAAP is a project managed and operated by FCT. RCAAP aims to increase the visibility, accessibility and dissemination of the results of national academic and scientific research activity and to facilitate access to information on national scientific production on an open access basis.

Depositing a book, book chapter or monograph in a repository on the RCAAP network is a prerequisite for it to be open access if it is published in closed access, i.e. only accessible for a fee. This deposit complies with FCT's Open Access Policy. For the deposit of books, book chapters or monographs originally published in open access, see "Books - Via Dourada question 4".

The deposit must be made when the article is accepted for publication or, at the latest, immediately after formal publication.

Yes. The book, book chapter or monograph can be deposited cumulatively in other repositories or on other media, such as the author's personal pages.
